Do I need boating experience?
Anchors Away welcomes first-time Duffy renters and provides an orientation before departure. The renter must be at least 25 with a valid driver’s license. Other companies and boat types have different qualification rules, so confirm directly with your operator.
How many people fit on a Duffy?
Anchors Away lists a maximum of 10 aboard, including children and pets. Tell the team your full group size before booking and ask how an optional driver affects available space.
Where do Anchors Away rentals depart?
The dock is at Marina Pacifica on Alamitos Bay, at 6274 E. Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach. Parking is behind Nordstrom Rack. View arrival directions.
Can I book a driver?
Anchors Away offers a driver for $50 per hour, subject to availability and at least 24 hours’ notice. Contact the company before booking if you want someone else to take the helm.
Can I bring food, drinks or a dog?
Anchors Away permits food and drinks and welcomes up to two dogs weighing 50 pounds or less. Confirm current onboard rules, your total party size and any special requests with the team before your trip.
